Big E's bbq sauce works very well with ribs. I'm a major fan of smoked ribs. Here in Colorado we have some ok bbq places but nothing that stands out for me. When I smoke my ribs I like to take the time to make the ribs tender and packed with deep levels of flavor.I start with a good cut of rib.I then place the ribs in a solution of water salt garlic and pepper you can add any spices you like. Place in the frig for 8 hours. Remove and pat dry. Heat up your smoker or grill to about 250 degrees. Add your wood chips that have been soaked in water for 30 minutes. Once you see smoke add the ribs.
It takes about 6 or 8 hours to smoke the ribs. While smoking the ribs I lather them with the sauce every few hour. A lot of people are intimidated with smoking ribs. It's about trying and learning what works for you and your smoker.
